Club History

The Central Pennsylvania Chapter of the Armor Modeling and Preservation
Society (AMPS) was originally formed in 2005 by a group of armor modelers
in Salunga,  a small town in south central Pennsylvania approximately 35 miles
southeast from Harrisburg, the capital.  The Chapter was registered that same
year with 10 members and met at the Cool Trains hobby shop the last Saturday
of the month.  Three years later, Harry Crossley became president, the position
he still holds.  The meeting venue was changed to the Grace Lutheran Church at
Landisville Zion Evangelical Church, 85 East Brandt Blvd, Landisville, PA, where
the chapter continues to meet.  Current listed membership stands at 28, with
regular monthly attendance at approximately 12-13.
